4725mag's latest fashion crush: AUM apparel

Designed out of Tahoe and sustainably made in San Francisco, AUM boasts an aesthetic that blends vintage inspiration with California cool. The clothing line is comprised of essential basics with innovative design twists that would be a welcome addition to any style-forward closet.

In need of a couple of summer essentials, we picked up an AUM vest and pair of shorts.

We'll be throwing this vest over almost everything this summer. Our most favored look is pairing this beaut' with paired down basics - a black bodycon skirt, O/S black silk blouse and black suede mini-heels.

It has a boxy and more modern silhouette yet is crafted from a subtly iridescent silver and black silk and trimmed in dramatic black fringe. It's that nod to vintage, 30s glam that we adore most about this piece.

These shortie leggings are one of our weekend go-to pants. Our favorite way to style them is with these L.A.M.B sandals and a boxy, slightly cropped t-shirt. We've even busted them out with heels when we want to doll up a little, but in the casual, comfortable way that we love best.

It's the details that elevate this comfortable basic to a style statement. Equal parts modern and nouveau gothic, the velvet and lace add a touch of luxe that leggings do not usually offer.

Find which AUM pieces speak to your personal style - happy shopping!
